These beautiful dangly octopus's put a smile on every girls face.

24ct gold plated earrings.

Every item is beatifully gift wrapped in a Ida Elsje box and comes with our iconic light pink and gold bags. 

Ida Elsje uses only natural precious and semi preciois stones and beads.

 Ida Elsje earrings are all 100% carefully hand cut and finished by and expert jeweller in our Cape Town studio. Ida Elsje draws the design, which is then placed on the metal before cutting each shape separately.  Each earring is then bent and forged into its own unique shape. A brushed or shiny finish is then applied before plating the entire surface in pure 24ct gold or Rose gold. All Sterling silver earring are made of solid sterling silver.

24ct Gold plated:
Keep your Ida Elsje earrings wrapped separately in their box. The reason for this is that the pure gold that we use for the plating is very soft and will scratch and come off when the earring rub against each other or and other materials such as other jewellery. Ida Elsje's gold plated earrings are made with solid sterling silver hooks and brass plate, the entire surface is then double plated in pure 24ct gold.
Service:
Ida Elsje offers a free polishing and plating service for all original Ida Elsje earrings, kindly send them to us every six months and we will make them look like new.
